Radical Acceptance: How to let go, lean in, and live fully through life’s biggest challenges

“Life rarely unfolds as we expect. When faced with one of my hardest challenges—navigating my daughter’s incarceration and addiction—I had to confront my own expectations and learn to accept life as it is, not as I wished it to be. It’s a lesson I’m still working on, and I invite you to explore this journey with me.”

Hi, I’m Danielle.

I created Been There, Babe to talk honestly about the experiences many of us are expected to navigate quietly: relationships, divorce, addiction in the family, adult children, loneliness, healing, major transitions, and starting over.

I don’t have all the answers. I do have lived experience, a willingness to talk about the hard things, and a deep belief that feeling understood can help us find our way forward.

These stories come from my perspective, but this space is for anyone who sees part of themselves in them.
